Teams of 3

10 MIN CAP

*Athletes 1 & 2 will have a 7 min cap to complete their exercises*

Teams will start with an empty barbell on the platform. At the call of 3-2-1 Go, Athlete 1 will begin the run from the starting line.

Athlete 1 must complete an 800m Run. Athletes 2 and 3 can load the barbell with the thruster weight, but athlete 2 may not start the couplet. Immediately upon athlete 1 return, athlete 2 will begin the couplet.

Athlete 2 must complete as many reps as possible of an ascending ladder of 2 thrusters and 2 burpees over barbell, then 4-6-8-10 etc. of each exercise until the 7-minute mark. At 7 minutes, all three athletes can prep the barbell for athlete 3 to begin max lift.

Athlete 3 will have from the 7 min mark until the 10 min cap to establish a 1RM hang snatch. Any type of hang snatch is acceptable.

Men will have a 45lb bar, Women will have a 35lb bar.

After your heat, the weights must be replaced in the pre-established order.

*This is a two-score event: Score one will be the total reps for the couplet from athlete 2. The faster Athlete 1 runs their 800, the more time Athlete 2 will have to score reps on the couplet. Score two will be the heaviest completed lift from athlete 3*

8 MIN CAP

Teams will start at the starting line. At the call of 3-2-1 Go, Both athletes will complete 400m Run. Immediately upon their return:

Both athletes will share the work to complete as many reps as possible of an ascending ladder of 2 thrusters and 2 bar-over burpees, then 4-6-8-10 etc. of each exercise until the 8 min time cap. One athlete will work at a time. Both athletes’ reps count towards the total.

Kids 8-10 = 15lbs empty barbell
Kids 11-13 = 30lbs loaded barbell

Teams of 2

Teams will start at the starting line. At the call of 3-2-1 Go, both athletes will complete 400m Run. Immediately upon their return:

Athlete 1 must complete as many reps as possible of an ascending ladder of 2 thrusters and 2 burpees over barbell, then 4-6-8-10 etc of each exercise until the 5 minute mark.

Athlete 2 will then have from the 5 min mark until the 8 min cap to establish a 1RM hang snatch. Any type of hang snatch is acceptable.

Teens 14-17 = Thrusters 65/45

BURPEE OVER BARBELL: The rep will start on either side of the bar with chest and shoulders touching the ground. The rep is complete when the athlete crosses to the other side of the bar. The athlete may step or jump. Athletes do not have to face the bar or reach full extension when crossing the bar. Stepping back and stepping up is allowed.

HANG SNATCH: The rep will start with the bar stopped above the knee and finish with the bar overhead, arms locked, and the knees and hips fully extended. Any type of snatch from the hang is acceptable; muscle, power or squat. Athletes must use clips.

THRUSTER: The rep will start with the bar in the front rack position with the crease of the hip dropping below parallel with the knee. The rep is complete when the athlete is full extended with knees, hips, shoulders, and elbows fully locked out and the weight above the head, directly over the shoulders. Athletes may squat clean to start their first rep.
