COVID 19 Information

Safety of our attendees and staff is our number one priority. WOD Wars has always had a culture of being outside, and we will be primarily outdoors this year. We ask that you be responsible at the event. Please maintain safe distancing when outside. Masks are encouraged when unable to maintain 6 feet of social distancing outside.

During the event we will be adhering to current Pinellas County mask mandate. We ask that each spectator wear a mask while indoors and maintain social distancing. There will be 1 event in the warehouse, but all doors will be open. Athletes, we kindly ask that once you finish your heat, you make your way out of the building. Spectators, we ask that once you finish watching your family/friends, that you also exit the building. This will prevent overcrowding inside. All equipment will be wiped down and sanitized as safely as possible between events, and all judges/staff will wear a mask while indoors.

Ensure sick persons stay home
Staff members, volunteers, and guests are encouraged to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. If any symptoms are present at or before the event date, you will not be able to attend the event.

Social distancing – All persons must be at least six-feet apart
Social distancing of at least six feet will be implemented and maintained between staff members, volunteers, and guests at the WOD Wars. Designated tent placement for athletes, socially distanced vendor tents, and marked areas for spectators have been put into place.

Staff, Volunteer, and Guest Hygiene
Basic infection prevention measures are being implemented at WOD Wars at all times. Staff members, volunteers, and guests are instructed to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently throughout the day, but especially at the beginning of the event, prior to any mealtimes and after using the restroom. There will be restroom facilities with disinfectant soap located inside and outside the building.

All person(s) are being instructed to cover their mouth and nose with their sleeve or a tissue when coughing or sneezing, and to avoid touching their face, particularly their mouth, nose and eyes, with their hands. Staff members, volunteers, and guests are expected to dispose of tissues in provided trash receptacles and wash or sanitize their hands immediately afterward.
